Here they are in case you guys haven't seen them yet. I tried the Heavens one last night it worked pretty well. I like the freedom they provide. I used the starseer trog priest steg kroxi and rippers.
Wow, thanks! Yeah, it's nice to have all this freedom. I've just read these warscolls, so I should test them before, but it seems to me the first one is amazing!!!
Yeah i realllllly wanted to try that one but I figured I'd try the one I liked less first lol. And no worries!
I had fun with it last night nice to use my monsters but still have nice troop choices for smaller games. Also total tin foil hat speculations but do you think we are getting a Scar-vet model update/warscroll? The first battalion says you can take just a Scar-vet as a hero choice then the 2 we have on mounts.
Nice! Especially with Heavenswatch. Might go well when I battle against the dragon team later on (whenever that gets sorted out) I'm still holding myself high for an update, why leave the Saurus on foot on a square base still while everything else is round? Then I have my specs for everything I see.
For a while now he has reappeared on the website properly, now Webstore exclusive. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Lizardmen-Saurus-Oldblood Can't wait to try the formations out, but I may need to buy the book in order to use them though Paying £20 just for two formations. I might ask the manager to see what he says.
I mean you can screen shot my screen shots lol. The AoS app has them as well for 1.99 us. Thats what I did lol. Thanks for the link!
The Heavens one was fun when i tried it. I want to try the bloodclaw but havent had time to play a game that size for a while
Problem solved. There's a scenario with a defending army, while the attacker must field at least 2 armies, with 2 generals, and to win you must wipe away the defender in 5 turns, otherwise you lose. The defender's wizards knows also a spell that let them teleport their units toward the battlefield, and if he manages to kill on of the attacker's general, that part of the army retreats. I will be the attacker, and so I'll play BOTH the formations.
Done it. From a certain pov, it was a lot of fun, it was probably my largest battle. From another pov... I'm not sure I would recommend it! Too many things to keep in mind, I was overwhelmed by numbers and things to do, 'til the point you eventually forget something. For example, with the Heavenswatch Starhost, in one turn i forgot to activate the EotG (!!!), and in another one I used 2 dices of the Starseer's Cosmic Herald to reroll two 1s "to wound" for my sallies... That said, both the battalions are fun, and two carnos are really scary.
