Star Children of Xilonen (pronounced shelO NEN) With the General's Handbook, I have got back into Age of Sigmar in a big way and have been thoroughly enjoying the matched play. I use to be a Bretonnian player for most of my life but I always had a soft spot for Lizardmen. Since the release of the new system I thought I would take the plunge into Seraphon. I always liked the thought of an army of albino lizards though I failed to paint albinism right and so I had settled for a white and orange theme. However, the behemoths I went for a blue and cream with a line of orange to match the army slann's own colours. I always wanted to create a force that can stand out to be my own. So with that out of the way, here are some photos for you all to enjoy. I will be adding more as I progress in building my force. Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur Saurus Warriors Stegadon Sorry for the lighting, I know it is not perfect but I hope you all enjoy them
These guys look so amazing! Fantastic details and colour scheme. I really like hat stegadon. Just looks so cool. And the bases look great too! I don’t think you failed on the albinism, just gave them a brighter starlight theme. Seriously these guys look great.
Thank you both for the comments, I am glad you guys like them. I have got another photo of my skinks as well. I will be trying to make sure every unit will have their own unique pattern on their shields to help seperate them during matches.
The skinks look awesome! The different shield pattern is a brilliant idea! That white with that orange crest and tail looks amazing. It's a really cool colour scheme.
Very nice. White is not an easy colour to pull off, but you've definitely succeeded with it. The white + orange scheme works really well.
Thank you all for your kind comments. I am finishing some ripperdactyls right now (I now totally get why you guys all play them after only a couple matches.) Here is my Saurus Oldblood on foot for you all to enjoy.
I love it! The white and orange looks phenomenal, and the dark bases adds something extra, that makes the models stand out. I was practically going to try almost that color scheme myself, but seems like you beat me to it.
Something I learnt earlier on when it comes to colour theory. A base that contrasts the model helps them stand out while, keeping it visually interesting rather the whole thing blending together. If you have dark coloured models it is sometimes a good idea to have a lighter base. I don't own this colour scheme, feel free to use it... ...what he said
The oldblood looks incredible! Absolutely gorgeous. The white and orange lizard with the blue and gold accessories just looks so great.
Well, finally got 1000 points finished now after completing these guys. Here's my Skink Starpriest: and my Ripperdactyls:
The blue flame design on the wings is brilliant. These rippers look fantastic! And that star priest is wonderful. I really think you have an amazing colour scheme!
