    I see, that is understandable.

My girlfriend was looking into different armies, and she usually like more of the bigger units and not alot of infantry. She also found units in the Death faction cool. The sub factions in Death seams to be lacking atm? So you need to make a grand alliance army right? Any tips for a monster themed army?

Yeah for Death there are not many factions that you can run pure, except Flesh Eater Courts. For almost everything else you will have to mix, usually with Deathmages or Deathlords or Soulblight.

As for the big ones, armies with only a few big umits for Death: you could play Deathlords. Morghasts are pretty big and they are Battleline. Then you just need a big hero, a Mortarch. Could even be Nagash himself. Epic models! But expensive.

That's exactly what i was looking at :D, the models are awesome! Was using AoS Army builder, what a helpfull tool!

Could you quick explain warscolls for me? As I've understood it, it lists a "warband" witch you can include in your army afecting the units in that perticual warband. Is this correct? So if i got two warscrolls, i got two "warbands" in my army?

    Warband = Batallion?

    E.g

    Eternal Starhost

    1 Eternity warden
    3 units of guards

These can only be part of that batallion

But cna i include Saurus Host and Shadowstrike Starhost in one army? And if I do, only the units who are spesified in the formations benefit from the "buff", not the entire army?

Hope I made myself understood, unsure if my wording is good enough here

Yes, you can run multiple bataillons.
And yes, only the units included in the bataillon benefit from the bataillon's bonuses, and units can only be part of one bataillon.

Thank you for clarifying! I was thinking of maybe painting different battalions in different warpaint down their spines or such, to visually mark them :D

Trying hard to find a color scheme I like alot atm.

I do think one can be creative around the normal colour scheme. But I'm testing stuff in GIMP.

I love making videos, and make gaming videos. If I make pretty models maybe Il start making videos and eventually video battle reports where people can help me learn the rules and such.

Thanks @Warden, I don't know when Il get started, but when it happens Il be sure to let you guys know :D.

I've also tried to find places to buy miniatures, some baseline models I seam to get my hand on fairly easy, but others look quite difficult. Do you guys buy alot from Amazon/eBay and such? Any Scandinavians in this chat? Or do you got a shop with all the models in Germany @Aginor ?

Death/Vampire Counts is my secondary army. That's why I have a zombie Skink as my avatar. IT's electrocuted because well...long story.

My undead soldiers are mainly display models, not a table top army (because I'm really really slow at finishing models but they look really cool).

The Undead equivalent to Lustria-Online is called Carpe Noctem. They are a friendly bunch and provide a lot of helpful advice in gaming and tactics. They also have great undead painting and fluff pieces. I am frequent visitor at the CN.

Death has fewer options and models than most of the other factions but just from what I've read, there is ample room for creating varied competitive lists within the faction without a lot of fuss.

Death, Vampire Counts, undeath, whatever you call them have an advantage over most other armies. In that LOTS of publishing companies make zombies, bats, vampires, skeletons, and the like. A lot of Vampire Counts/Death players use Mantic models to boost their core. It's cheaper and in some cases better sculpted than GW.

there is also a lot of fun you can do with conversions. Here are some Skink and Saurus zombies. They are supplemented by traditional human zombies. If I ever take manage to force myself to paint again, I have several Skaven zombies that have been in WIP status for months. Even my human zombies have some conversions. I like to cut off random body parts and attach prosthetics made of broken weapons.

Fantasywelt.de sells many GW Models (even the mail order stuff they say) and also others. I don't know if they ship to Norway though, but I can check. They have an English version of their site IIRC.
Edit: huh. No English it seems. Sorry.

I am an active user on Carpe Noctem (also on Khemri forum), and I can confirm all that Scalenex said.
There are some really amazing conversions, the painting there is top-quality.

You can also strip the paint from them and paint them again, them use them. Old models are OK. :)

I did not know how to thin my paint, there are blobs. The white on the teeth looks like toothpaste all over their face xD! I was not the talented one haha!

My poorly painted Kroq-Gar didn't survive the move :c Limbs falling off, I tried to re-glue, but fell off again. The "army" looks like a mess xD.

Metal models are easier to strip than plastic correct? How do you strip plastic ones efficiently?
