This is Tidings' skinks. He made a wood elf army with some really cool proxies in order to fit the whole army theme.
These are his skinks.. gotta say I loved the day haha !
    Really creative

    Some lovely miniatures there.
And the Chameleon Skinks really made my day. :D

I have seen something similar once, that guy had also a tail or two and some arms (I think) sticking out of the bushes which also looked nice.

Yeah I've seen them also, I thought about doing a 5 man unit of a boltspitter on a piece of clear acrylic rod and the base, might still do it one day.

Meh, that's rubbing it in too much, the bushes actually stand out and the joke isn't that on the nose :p

Actually I took it from the just for laughts thread, where someone (probably @memebringer/ @NIGHTBRINGER ) posted it some weeks ago... due to the sheer mass of content of the thread since then I found it easier to make a Google search for it...

If you're going to do that you're going to need something much thinner than th acrylic rods. They are too visible for the joke work/not to be terribly lame and Obvious. Those bushes and the stealth suit still have hints of someone there (I do love the footprints with that stealthsuit) which make the joke work. The acrylic rods will mostly just look weird.
