Skink conversions

Hey guys, this was a last minute idea I had while creating my terradons

Looking for ideas so I can maybe expand and enhance these boys

I bring you; Skink Chargers

 

That looks great! You managed to make them fit on the cold ones perfectly.

To be honest I'm new to the hobby so I'll see how I go with green stuffing, as for expanding the model I had ideas on potentially having bastiladon scales as battle armor (have not tested if it will look nice or not yet), razordon heads on the old ones as a skull helmet ( you can see one in the picture slightly) and at one point I was considering handing another skink with a blowpipe behind the first one but I think that may be overkill, especially to my budget

Any suggestions?

More than welcome to borrow the idea! See if you can expand on it too while you're there

The only issue is the cost associated since it's parts from multiple boxes


Also!!! I found the old models which I didn't know were a thing, but I much prefer mine anyway haha

 

It is more cost-effective than the old metal Skink raider models. And I have ways of getting miniatures cheaper

Here's some ammendments my skinks because I think their look could use an upgrade

Parts; skinks from ripperdsctyl/terradon set
Skinks from standard skink set

 

What parts did you use on the second skink

 

Arms are from the ripperdactyl set, the arm with the broken spear is normally without any weaponry but I just cut a piece off and glued it on

The axe as well is from the skinks in the riperdactyl set

Just for fun, here's a skink defender (base is not going to be used, will be replaced with a larger one).

Initial ideas will be to have one or more skinks holding the scale while others have blowpipes or javelins behind it, will post results when I have them

Parts; easy this time, just the spare scale from the bastiladon set and a regular skink

 

They are strong and deceptively light
