Hey all, long time no see. Having only just finished my year at Uni I've finally got some free time and started painting again. With the new aos update I read that I can use my 25mm square bases and play as if I have the 32mm round bases.

Half my army is on square bases and the other half is still on their sprues. I'm thinking of rebasing everything since it would look odd otherwise. A huge problem with my big dino's is that I kind of superglued them to the bases so they won't be removed easily, any tips?

How many need rebasing, craft knife under the feet and apply pressure will remove them easily but do it on a table and never cut towards your body/fingers

IMO, the best way is to cut bases from cardboard and glue them to old square bases. But it worth it only if one going to participate in tournaments. Honestly, there is so much players with square bases, that even at tournaments they will allow them for some time.

As someone with squares and currently in the process of rebasing, circles just look SOOOOOO much better. I think it's worth it for that reason alone.

I have about 100 square based units including 2 carnosaurs, 2 bastillos, 1 stega

Yeah this is my primary motive, big units look much better on circle bases

Being raised with WHFB, i like square bases. But yeah, I cannot disagree that round ones are nicer.

Okay so I've decided to make the jump to round bases, however, I can't find any reasonably priced sources. I'm looking for around the following:
    5, 120mmx92mm (Carno,Bassie,Stega)
    132, 32mm (Warriors, Temple guard)
    100, 25mm (Skinks)
    20, 60mmx35mm (Knights)

I've looked at element games which sell citadel kits here and here.
I've also had a look at eBay but it looks like this endeavor will cost me £50+, is this just the price I have to pay?

I use the MDF ones for monsters and cavalry they are solid only thing is sticking the minis too them, superglue or 2 part epoxy, use plastic for infantry as they are a pain.

Pretty sure I have some plastic bases 32,25mm

    Reaper Miniatures?

They even have a presence in the UK (mostly to fulfill KS orders) and it’s free shipping at the quantities you are contemplating.

((...standby while I look for a link...))

    https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Bases oval

    https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Bases round

The same black plastic, the same shapes...

((...might help better if it was in ££; click the little flag, upper right on the store page...))
