1) I see a lot of people use Lord Kroak with Balewing vortex. Vortex is strong for sure, but is this a "must have"? 2) A Slann generates summoning points per turn and extra for not casting. Is Lord Kroak a Slann for the summoning system?
1. The Balewind gives extra range and an extra spell casting slot, not essential but worth it. 2. Kroak is a Slann he has the Keyword on his Warscroll
nice, thx. mmmmmmh he is a slann and could produce points...... his spell is really amazing, is there a chance that you will take the points over the spells?
Not sure yet but I think using him to collect points is a waste as he has good damage potential, probably cast 2 spells and use the rest for points.
haha optimistically...... on the other hand, stormcaster got some nice stuff and we are Order too. Maybe the say sometimes:" Hey, our stormcaster need stronger allies, like super carnosaurus with jump and unbinding abilities
To be honest I would rather expect "If you want exclusive stuff just ally in a SCE wizard" but things _have_ gotten better with GW and they hinted at several more endless spells being in the works a few times, so I think we might actually see some of our own or at least some that fit us very well.
Beside of that, Lord Kroak could be really powerful in aos 2.0 cast one spell three times can melt some units! to be fair, 450 points is not a joke, you have to spent a lot
Sure but IMO that should not be about being powerful, it should be about choice. I dislike the faction-exclusive Endless Spells because of that. In the end I kinda expect it to be a few factions (maybe including Seraphon, maybe not) who get access to the really cool new spells, while this would have been such a nice opportunity to have them universally available to help improve balance in the game.
