So I want to make fluff for my army. But it seems very hard when I have to work with lizards made of star energy that just disappear when the fight is over.

Is there any preference for a Seraphon armyt hat got stuck sort of

I have an idea that the Slann need to "remember" the Seraphon spaceship things they live on, and the one responsible for my army forgot where to go so now they are stuck in a realm.

    Thoughts?

Here are some thoughts on Seraphon lore writing.

Since your army is spawning from the mind of your Slann you need to figure out what's on your Slann's mind. Your Slann's favored tactics for fighting on behalf of Order are a good start.

Figure out what the lands and/or planet your Slann lives on and if the lesser Seraphon get to dwell there or just live in the Slann's head 99% of the time.

Extra detail if you go into the Time Before and cover major events to your Slann's temple city or Kahoun. Formative experiences here would impact the memories of the Slann of course and color his/her outlook and tactics.

Sounds great, but I have further questions, what lands / planet(can I find something about this in the lore?) What planets and lands and such?

Oh and I also just now found 2 official mentions that Seraphon can live on and become flesh and blood without the influnce of their Slann Masters.

    If anyone has'nt seen it.

Guide to making your own Free City and the last table lists Seraphon as inhabitants!

SI guess I could ignore the Star Lizard setting.

    It can be both!
The story how the first of your Lizards became real and how they settled there could be interesting.

The randomizer is okay but it weirds me out that Watchtower, hamlet, village, town, city, and sprawling metropolis are equally likely.

Your basic bastion of civilization is interconnected. A city probably is supported by villages and commands watchtowers.

My suggestion is start with one and work with it.

If you want to focus on the fluff of your battles, pick a watch tower or village that is strategically important and sees a lot of battles. Then gradually build on the people your watchtower or fort reports to.

If you want to focus on the big stuff, start with a city and then cover what the city controls.

I do like the distinguishing features. You could either pick your favorite or roll something random and try to justify it.

For instance if you got "Monster Graveyard" and "Huge Agricultural Bounty" that seems like it doesn't fit, but what if your location includes a place monsters go to die and your people collect the meat.

I like this one, going to start wiith this, do you think it would be weird to have them land some of the pyramids on Ghyran, in order to establish a foothold on a realm, I assume that the Slann and Skinks if not Saurus and other Seraphon aboard the starships would still need food, and a city on Ghyran would be able to supply plenty of food.

Im curious to read the fluff if it has been written yet? I may have missed the post if it has! Im doing the same with my Character Acattopa and his Cohort, but starting from before in the time that was and will eventually get to the end times where they fly off and then transfer them to AOS. Do this has been a big help to me as well, thank you! For my stories lore sake and general AOS lore, I do hope Sotek is around...Sotek imo would be perfect as the god of war made physical to lead the Seraphon against Chaos and its allies
