This is a regular blog I use to keep track of my army evolution, so no harm done.

Answering your question, using two magic items:

    - Inspiring Talisman grants Inspiring (yeah I know VERY original name) to a Hero, costs 20 points.
    - Wine of the Elven-kind gives Nimble to any unit, costs 40 points.

    Thanks for reading !

Brilliant, thanks for the reply and thread! Helping me start an army of cold blooded boyos. Last question I promise... using the KOW online builder can’t see mayters prayer can be added to the mage? Do you add it like an artifact?

That's it,be sure to use the COK18 page. Still don't know why they keep the 17 edition there.

It's awesome to know of a new Salamander player! Will be posting my last report for the league very soon, IT'S THE FINAL!!! So much better than that football nonsense.

2500 points against Rhordia!! That will be ALL my models lol, so no much choice regarding list building.

I’m now versed in all the oddities of KOW. Hope the final goes well. Once I’ve figured out a few proxies I’ll get a few pictures up.

Following the Salamander victory in our league, the winner of the other KoW league in our city suggested we played a final battle to crown the KING ON THE NORTH!!

You can check the report HERE

    Hope you enjoy it!

It is quite a sad moment for me as this will probably be the last proper Battle Report for my Salamanders in a while, BUT DON'T DESPAIR, Salamanders will be my full time Tournament army so expect some Tournament reports in full, first one:

BATTLE FOR BILBOSTOCK, 30TH OF SEPTEMBER

Following last post, the tournament will be 1995 points and after the battle against the Undead I tweaked the list as follows :

    - Mage-Priest with Inspiring, Martyrs Prayer and Surge (ITEPIXCAUH)
    - Skylord with Blade of the Beast-Slayer
    - Mounted Battle Captain
    - Herald
    - Horde of Ghekkotah Warriors with Strength
    - Horde of Tyrants
    - Horde of Fire Elementals with Nimble
    - Horde of Ancients on Rhinosaur with Healing Brew
    - Horde of Skyriders with Jar
    - Regiment of Kaisenor Lancers
    - Lekelidon
    - Lekelidon

A very slight change, changed the mount on the Herald for the Blade on the Skylord as I felt he really needed it and my Herald can keep up with the fast stuff moving at the double all the time.

If I cannot paint everything on time I will have to change the Skyraiders for Agnes (the GFE LL) and probably will have to leave the Blade of the Skylord at home.

    - Mage-Priest with Inspiring, Martyrs Prayer and Surge (ITEPIXCAUH)
    - Skylord
    - Mounted Battle Captain
    - Herald
    - Horde of Ghekkotah Warriors with Strength
    - Horde of Tyrants
    - Horde of Fire Elementals with Nimble
    - Horde of Ancients on Rhinosaur
    - Regiment of Kaisenor Lancers
    - Agnes
    - Lekelidon
    - Lekelidon

That looks rather good to me. I much prefer the Skyraiders but I think it can do rather well.

What models are you using as mounts for your, uh, "Skinks on Cold Ones"? I don't have the Uncharted Empires book, so i don't know their legit name.

They are a very, VERY old Mercenary unit from Warhammer Fantasy called Tichi-Huichi's Raiders, with weapons and shields from the Terradon Kit. The name is technically Kaisenor Lancers

Yeah i am trolling through your painting blog now, and see the process there. Funny, cause those models are superior to the "modern" cold ones in every way. Your conversions obviously enhance them wonderfully, but the base models seem so much more life-like.

I'm hoping cold ones are on the list of things they'll update, and by Sotek, skinks make so much more sense then saurus riders. The proportions for saurus riders are all wrong, in the rider-mount ratio. Most of the new models GW is producing do seem to have a better eye for proportion than the older models. Even look at the much argued-over primaris.
