    All,

maybe a somewhat far fetched idea, just questioning the exact ruling.

Fighting in Ghyran, you could use the realm command 'Command the land'
    The exact wording is:

"You can use this command ability at the end of your hero phase. If you do so, a fiendly HERO can attempt to cast the shield of Thorns spell."

How you could interpret it, it alows for -say my slann- to cast an extra spell, but as the wording reads 'CAN' my slann is not forced to actiually cast it but could instead trade the spell for an extra 3 conjuration points.

    Welcome to Lustria!

Yes, you can spend 1 CP to cast Shield of Thorns. Just before you cast the spell you can then declare that you will use it to generate Celestial Conjuration points Instead. I do this at events every time I play in the Realm of Ghyran. You can however only do this once per endstep of your Herophase. Since each spell may only be attempted to be cast once.

Well, in case it's allowed, than I even believe you could spend multiple command points ( if available ) as the wording of the realm command litteraly says: '...and even if the spell has been attempted by either themselves ...'

Good catch, I had always read it as they can attempt the cast even if other Wizards had. I missed the part where they were also included in it. So yes. If you have the CP you can farm Conjuration.

Kroaks command ability is PERFECT for Gyhran. just saying. that's up to 9 free CCP a turn. that makes turn 1 (with no other changes to the current Kroak summoning build and not failing any rolls): kroak summons BWV, SP summons cogs. Kroak uses cogs for free spell. kroak burns 5 spells for 15 ccp. AB generates 3 for 18. use your CP to make 3 CP. use those CPO to have kroak cast and forgo shield of thorns three times for 9 more points (27) slann is general for 28. Second turn kroak doesn't need to use a spell for BVW and you optimally make 31 CCP. that's 31 a turn. in a perfect world. its 20 at worst (fail all three CP rolls, and AB rolls a 1)

so without another 4 cp on turn one no..there wont be a DS... but you COULD do it... it just makes the FIRST summoned DS cost 200 points instead of 420. prolly not worth it, but holy crap that's a serious "OH SHIT" moment for your opponent. and if you happen to build a battalion that generates CP.... well then...you might just have some FUN. I don't think it would be competitive to use the 31 a turn on the DS.
