AoS 1k to introduce Seraphon to my country

Hey, everyone. I'm from Uruguay, and wargaming is going through a slow but enthusiastic process of getting more played. I live in France and will visit soon my family and friends, wanting to check out the new local hobby store. Nobody there plays Seraphon, and I'd love to show them how awesome they can be. Please help me build the most competitive list I can to be able to challenge the good players there!
Only two people have 2000 points there, so we'll be playing with 1k. I don't have the models to make the competitive lists adviced by the Lustrian God of Win and Magic, but maybe the infinite wisdom of this forum can give some ideas. Please, I beg thy, giveth me a vision of glory!

990 in total, but my knights are not very good painted and maybe you can think of something better? Thank you!!

 

Very neat advice as always, thank you so much!!! I will do as you say, I'll probably try Ghystrike first, but if I think I need the survability I'll go with the cloak. I like the idea of having three heavy hitters with carno, rippers and 40 Saurus unit, then use knights and Skinks to take unprotected objectives. I'm not used to playing so agressively but I wanna give it a go! You're a god, wizard. Thank you for everything !

However, my people decided to play meeting engagement for the tournament we're organising! I'm new to that mode, but I understand 40 Saurus unit is not an option anymore. I don't know what to do now! Do you guys have experience with ME? I saw the lists the Wizard God put for recommendations, but I don't have the models to play them! Please, gods of Lustria, I know I might be asking a lot, but help me in my time of need! I pray for you, oh, omnipotent entities of the stars! Help me kick these people asses with the little resources I have! Hell I'm willing to pay for a list lol

 

Seriously, you should take money for this. I can't stress enough how much you have helped me with the game, and I'm just one in a bug chunk of people that get helped by your advices. If you or any friends of yours come to Marseille (France) or Montevideo (Uruguay), send me a pm and you/they will have somewhere to stay for free and a tour guide.
I will definitely give it a go! Do you suggest teleporting to the objective turn 1 to get it asap? How agressively would you play this? Also, how do you manage rearguard arrival, isn't it too late sometimes? Hope life is as kind to you as you are to us. Thank you, again and again!

Bring every carnosaur you can

 

Hey everyone!! It was intense, we played Starstrike battleplan and he played Nighthaunt. He gave me the first turn and I was able to one-hit KO Reikenor the Grimhailer with my 3 Ripperdactyls. They proceeded to kill some Grimghast Reapers before falling. I played the objectives as always, and when I saw the hero with Ruler of the Spirit Hosts exposed, I charged in with my carno and killed him! From there his Spirit Hosts starting destroying me, but I was able to stall enough time to win with a final score of 21 to 17 (I was barely able to capture an objective the last turn with my Skinks, which gave me the victory).
Having the skink priest ritual on my Starpriest was crucial! Rerolling charges makes summon-and-charge a viable strategy. Very fun to play for both of us, thank you all I'll try to get another match soon before leaving the country again!
