    Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and the army and wanted to get some opinions on color schemes and fluff. I'm trying to get back into the hobby after not really playing for 7 or 8 years. Last time I mostly played dwarfs, but I'm pretty set on going with lizards this time around.

The normal blue/turquoise colors are pretty good, but I was thinking about doing something a little different. One idea I had was to go with a grey undercoat and dark red scales. The fluff behind them being that they were spawned from a pool that had been polluted by the Skaven, and came out not quite right. I'm not 100% up to date on the fluff, so what do you guys think, does that work?

I saw some pictures of some volcanic themed models that looked pretty sweet as well (not that I can paint like that), and tan/orange desert look is appealing too.

Well if the spawning pool was corrupted by skaven, well i imagine lizardmen that came out from it would look like little chaos spawns :D

Maybe this pic of a BL novel could help you
