I realize this is an old post, so apologies for resurrecting it. However, I've a question. I thought TG Champions could only take magic weapons, not enchanted items? Can the TG champion take the Venom? I don't have my book on me.
He can take any magic items up to 25 points, except obviously not arcane since he isn't a spellcaster.
I like the idea of giving my BSB the war drum.... +1 leadership for rally and rerollable... Unless i missed something
BSB only allows for reroll of break tests. That said, having a BSB who can't be march blocked is handy, as you can march him into better position to give rerolls.
