    Hi guys & gals,

    I've been working on rules for playing as fantasy races in 40k for several years, and since I love the lizardmen army I've been using them to playtest the rules. I've shared this on a few facebook pages where the feedback has been quite positive, so I thought I'd post a link here to get your opinion: Codex Lizardmen

    I would particularly like some help in writing some sort of fluff that ties in the ending of lizardmen in the End Times story with the appearance of them in 40K, but I don't know much about what happened other than they flew away in some sort of space ark/temples. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    There is already a TL;DR fluff section with a pantheon all about some very human looking gods and goddesses. So I am going to suggest: KEEP IT BRUTALLY SHORT.

    How about eight bullet points (or less)?
    • Each surviving Slann did his best to bring his city or temple clear of sphere of Chaos that engulfed the olde planet
    • Eight of them did not make it to a high enough orbit (altitude)
    • The fringe of the Orb of Chaos that was obliterating the world was functionally a ++warpway/webway++
    • They were swept through this and found themselves in high orbit around an unknown world; only Seven had survived the warp
    • Only Six survived re-entry into the unknown atmosphere of this new jungle world
    • But only Five of the Temple cities landed safely and grew; the Sixth is lost and may be at the bottom of a Sea
    • This jungle world is in the same galaxy as the 40K space marines
    Well lookit that, I only needed seven.
    ++Insert the appropriate 40K techno-babble here.

    I love the rules used them couple times in games
    2 things
    Code of honour is too powerful and no AP2/3/4 only on giant bow and relic

    I'll have to fiddle with this later, but I'm digging it. How would you classify the army's playstyle? ARe they a melee army that gets psychic powers? How do they deal with a gunline?

    Do you plan on updating these rules for 8th edition?
