Fyreslayers would require new models (which I'm all for) for a Start Collecting! Set. At the very least, a new center piece model since the Magmadroth is well above the $85 value.

That looks like a Slaaneshi symbol on the right, and its the fire-dwarfs on the left, but what symbol is the blue thing in the center? Spider-Wonder-Woman?

From left to right, I'm reading it as "who cares?" - "who cares?" - SLAANESH!!!

Ok, the only SC! I'm sure we all can assume what will have is the Slaanesh one. 10 Daemonettes (BTW, few noticed it, but they where actually unavailable last month for like a week, today they are on a new box, with only round bases), 5 Seekers and 1 regular Seeker Chariot.

I guess we all can agree that the Fyreslayer one will include 10 Berzerkers, but Hearthguards are "elite", but, so far, every SC! kit has basic infantry, very few have elite infantry. I will assume that they will, however, because I'm totally sure that they will not drop the Magmadroth price to half of its price just to include it on a SC!. I'll say that they will include Grimwrath as the leader, given that the other two heroes on foot are more oriented to support instead of fighting in the front. And poor guy was not included on a single battalion in the original Fyreslayers Battletome.

The SC! that intrigues me is the Beastclaw one, because, well, they only have 2 plastic kits; the mammoth and the Mournfangs. No other SC! kit has had only 2 plastic kits.

But, given that the Ironblaster is mentioned as a Beastclaw miniature in Mighty Battles in an Age of Unending War, I'd assume that it could be included there. GW has mixed factions on the same box (Malignants and Skeleton Horde). That, or they'll include 2 mammoths to make both a Stonehorn and a Thundertusk, and two Mournfangs. Or maybe this could add finecast models for the first time, instead of an additional plastic kit. Maybe Yhetees, given their synergy with Thundertusks.

I don't think they will recast their finecrap models just yet, but it would be nice to see plastic Yhetees (and more finecast recasted on plastic, of course).

I'd like to see more SC! kits, but three new kits are okay. I hope for Arcanites and Rotbringers by December, or early 2018.

From DakkaDakka's MongooseMatt, who has a good rep and talked with his rep (...;)), has shared the contents of the new SC! bundles:

    • Fyreslayers: Magmadroth, 10 Vulkite Berzerkers, Runesmiter (bit cheeky, as the latter comes from the Magmadroth kit).
    • Beastclaw Raiders: Stonehorn, 4 Mournfangs.
    • Slaanesh: Exalted Seeker Chariot, 10 Daemonettes, 5 Seekers.

Fyreslayers is going to be hell of a deal if that's true. 50% off, the highest savings since the Stormcast SC!, when they weren't reboxed. There will never be any other reason to pick a Magmadroth on its own; you might pick a Carnosaur because it costs the same as the SC!, but Magmadroths are more expensive. They could just stop making Magmadroths on their own at all.

And yeah, add that Runesmiter is quite cheeky, however if you mount him on a Magmadroth, you will have enough pieces to build a Runefather or son; however, if you mount one of them on the Magmadroth, you will have spare pieces to build the other one and the Runesmiters on foot, so you will be able to build up to 3 Fyreslayer heroes, which, now I'm thinking of, that might've the reason for why Magmadroth was that expensive to begin with.

I really want to grab some a Beastclaw SC! bundles. You'll never have to buy each of the two kits individually ever again (unless you want Mournfangs units at max size), and a lot of Beastclaw battalions need many Stonehorns or Thundertusks.

But it really bugs me because is just 2 kits. I love the kits but... is pretty much the same "problem" I have with the Eldar SC!; I like the contents of it, but I still feel like GW could've packed a Guardian squad too.

Still, it is a really good deal; just buy as many as you want or need to expand your army.

I suppose this also means that the Icewind Assault bundle will be replaced soon, which would be a shame. Unlike the previous bundles that had one or two finecast models, three fifths of the Beastclaw are finecast and are on the Icewind Assault bundle, and it has good savings (-$87 from $302/-£49.5 from £184.5) and obviously it feels like it has more variety when compared to the SC!

Now, I'm not complaining about the Slaaneshi Daemons one, but, "exalted" should mean something Imo. However, I have realized the Exalted Chariot is just a regular chariot and a Hellmower combined, so technically it has a duplicate kit on it but at the same time it gives you 3 options to build chariots. Definitively a good kit.

I think that SC box for Fyreslayers is going to piss off some folks. I got lucky and got my Magmadroth at 50% off, but if I'd paid full price I'd be absolutely livid.

I picked up all my Fyreslayers months ago at a big discount, so not too fussed about it. If anything it just means I can buy more for less to expand the army.

The Slaaneshi one is the most interesting to me, can get a bunch of models and conversion parts for a decent price. Considering most decent online retailers sell SC boxes for in the region of £38ish you can get a big aul pile of models for cheap!

So, there are the new Fyreslayers, Beastclaw Raiders and Daemons of Slaanesh SC! bundles.

Also, Magmadroths are no longer available to sale individually; if you check on any of the three Auric Fyreslayers on Magmadroth description, you will notice that if you order them, you will get the SC! instead.

Now, that sounds quite tragic for me, honestly. I mean, does that mean that the Magmadroth was so poorly sold that it not only had to get a price drop, be included on a SC!, and on top of that, it will no longer be available outside of the SC! bundle? I guess I was right after all but, that's... sad...

I just noticed, too, that many Fantasy kits got round bases in the current new releases display: Longbeards, Hammerers, Grave Guard, Wild Riders, Sisters of the Thorn, Dispossessed Warriors, Moonclan Grots, Hexwraiths and Black Knights. And I even noticed that Glade Guard and Nomad Princes were already reboxed.

Those all seem like great values. I wish GW had such deals back when I was still buying their merchandise. Either way, they are definitely great starters sets.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the "Exalted" seeker chariot just 2 regular chariots boxed together as 1 kit? It is exactly the same cost as 2 normal seeker chariots after all...

So REALLY you're getting 10 Daemonetts, 5 Seekers and 2 Seeker Chariots. Seems pretty decent to me although in my opinion it would have been nice to drop a chariot and throw something else in. I'm a big fan of Hellstriders but I can understand them being left out to make it a purely daemonic box usable across both systems.

I like these boxes and have already run into folks excited for the at my FLGS. I think there was a missed opportunity though to give a new model or two to each of these factions, especially Slaanesh. They could have tipped their hand a bit and shown a new general or unit.

Yes, but, as dumb as it sounds, we don't know yet if GW will include two oval bases to build two chariots instead of just the exalted one.

I really doubt the bundle will not have them, but still, we could use a confirmation.

Oh good point, didn't think about the bases! I guess it depends on what comes in the Exalted Seeker kit, which is stated to be a 100x150mm monster base, and a large oval base. Is the 100x150 the old square one?

Why would they add a quadrilateral base? And they include a large round base, not oval as it says.

It will have to have two 120 mm oval bases, since every Warhammer chariot so far rebased uses them.

Something we haven't done so far while doing the SC!'s savings maths if consider the individual price for each base. Granted, they have to be courtesies, but if we want to consider those two additional large oval bases too to give us the option to build any variant we want, it will, obviously, add more to the saving value: £3/$4.95 for each other large oval base, so there is an additional £4/$9.9 if the SC! does have the option to build any of the three variants.

Remember too that the instructions for make an Exalted Chariot are included too on the individual Chariot kits.

I don't know yet if the individual Exalted Chariot kit includes those additional bases, but, given when it was released, I don't think GW would've gladly include 4 additional bases to make it compatible with Fantasy and 40K, but personal experience here is needed to clarify the situation.

Yet, if they did what they did to the Magmadroths, I wouldn't think GW will mind to add two 120 mm oval bases.
