    Hi everyone,

When I am painting I often encounter a problem. There are a lot of small hairs and dust sticking to my model while I am painting. It also gets underneath the paint. I always wash my models before basecoating them. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem. Mayby it is caused by my brushes, or I clean them the wrong way.

Shedding brushes contribute to this quite a lot.
although sometimes it actually is dust.
I find my brushes shed more when doing things like dry brushing,
So I keep a pair of tweezers near by just in case.
Oh also old brushes tend to shed more.

Thanks man, I do a lot of drybrushing, so that will proberly be causing the problem.

I try and save my sturdy cheep brushed for dry brushing,
But it still wears them out pretty fast.

Ps. you can try shampooing and conditioning your brushes...
    this might help a little.
