Help Paint scheme of Sunblood

    Any idea what the paint job is on this guy? i lke the ancient grey look for an army

    I _think_ that's layered, starting with some middle grey (perhaps Celestra grey) and then layered with some light ash grey (Ulthuan grey), shaded carefully with a light flesh or sepia shade and then highlighted with light grey again. In the end It was highlighted with white (White Scar for example)

    EDIT: Might even be layered with grey color and white mixed together, in each step you mix more white in and you use multiple very thin coats.

    The step I am not sure about is the shade. There is a blueish tint that might stem from a glaze or light blue wash.... The skin might not be shaded at all in fact! If you are a pro in layering you can make that.

    The scars were probably done using a purple shade and white highlights.

    Probably an eshin/ administratum grey as a basecoat. im still unsure about the fleshy parts around the sclaes. white with reiksland?

    Yeah might be a flesh shade.
    It was done before the highlighting though so it probably was a light grey, not white before shading it...

    It's the offical GW one but @Xlanax_lot did do a very similar one.

    Hahaha thanks a lot man but I just copied gw color scheme

    Agree, here ir how I did it

    A ehile back when I was getting back into the hobby I tried to replicate gw color scheme, this is ehat i did.

    I primed black and basecoated dark purple.

    Than I continue by blending whites Up to the point where I was happy with it.

    Thx, looks good :) Although by now i tried something else. I based celestra grey, washed it 50/50 agrax nuln and highlighted with more greys.

    did you use any washes on him?
