Hello Some fantastic stuff from Vince Venturella... I played d&d back in the late 80s but apart from that I only got started playing miniature games when silver tower came out (AoS). Very late starter. So this is a nice potted history (this is the fourth part) to give anyone new to the world some background. Now a lot of stuff makes sense to me.
Interesting video, thanks for posting! I also started the hobby quite late, with AoS, so nice to hear something about the old WHFB in condensed form.
Yeah @Aginor we can both sigh and say stuff like...”you know, AoS yeah.. it’s good, but, it’s not like fourth edition”...etc. I’ll see if I can bluff it. ;-)
Yeah. I am too young to have properly played the first three editions when they were released, but 4th (or more believable: 5th as I am German and that was the first one released in German) would work.
does being immature count as being young? That’s me...Heh heh I was interested to see lizardmen/slaan dark past with human slaves (and what they did to them). Dearie me. Things changed somewhat!
Funnily enough, I watched a battle report greenskins v khorne last week on YouTube in German. Language barrier and all that, I did start off not really getting it then....hey, wait I get this! AoS...breaking down barriers!
