once I get out of work (a few days from now) I’ll get cracking on the rest of him, considering extra detail on his scales (but always wuss out on free hand stuff)
There is something magical in seeing a green blob of modeling mass evolve into a model with all those details like eyes and tongue and teeth.
Yeah I love it, when you first start it’s just green blobs in other green blobs and you think...I’m not too sure about this, then after a few more blobs and some focused tool work ’tadaa’ It resembles something like I want the end product to be, a little more then a little more and slowly it starts looking real For example; Watch these blobs become an Ork and a Nurgle blight lord
Thank you Same here!! Just 6 more hours of work then I get to go home (I’ll start kneading green stuff in the morning) A note; For anyone interested - I was considering sculpting 5x different cold-one heads with the Thrills (like my earlier conversions - but with more detail) as my current conversions are based around the original GW models. These 5x heads will come with tails as well and possibly new arms/hands - as a ‘cold-one conversion kit’ that I will create moulds for. So if anyone is interested let me know (I will ofcourse create and show said heads for all to see) The likelihood is that I will also design and create other Seraphon units like the kroxigors/salamanders etc as well. So I’d anyone is at all interested, let me know, if you do so in advance I can easily customise said models to personal favour. Thanks
Haven’t posted much progress lately (lots of work) also been a tiny bit distracted - started making my own sect of seraphon - I will release my ‘basic’ fluff stuff for it soon when I’ve thought up a couple more new ideas (safe to say I have a lot of them already) I do want plenty of C&C please - so I can iron them out Below is the basic body shapes for a ‘body crusher chariot’ and a ‘Comet of Rai’ All will become clearer soon. Thanks for your time !
Looks interesting... An alternative name could be: the large hadron collider... as it's a hadrosaur...
