Really great model, nice converting I am still wondering what is happening to the human? Is he being eaten by something? Gr, Imrahil
thank you, I have to admit the basic pose for the trog is pretty good - kinda slumped over with a heavy old maul, but I do like to be different - like my bosses to tell a small story - as ha ability is; being followed by little creatures that seek his protection and a pet gribbly - couldn’t resist him treating his pet to a light snack. @Crowsfoot we will both have a full painted gobbo army each on no time at this rate ! -looking forward to seeing your work. - my next trick will be a converted fungi shaman
@Aginor thanks. I’ve been fiddling around with some of the Gobbo caster bits ‘n’ bobs to make myself a suped up Fungoid shaman and a madcap (the latter yet to be made) - see Mr.Fungoid below; bare in mind I will add some green stuff to fill him out and make his stance more astetically pleasing Enjoy.
Nice, I'm in the development stage of the spiders, can't seem to find any big rocks so I think it's going to have to be a styrofoam job.
Not sure how I feel about the concept of the endless spells in general, but I love your trolls! (trogs? troggoths? copyright?) I like the color scheme you have chosen better than the pics I have seen from GW, the dark blue-purple skin you painted them as contrasts great with the red mushroom and the green rocks. Fantastic looking big spider! And I love all the detail you put into the base! Another amazing big daddy troll. Again I love the tiny little details that are displayed on these models, it adds a lot of character to the model itself and to the base!
Got some more ‘tree-people’ as I want to have a decent 1k-1.5k point army of them ready (so putting chaos and gitz aside for now) Stay tuned
Tree people made - awaiting a few minor green stuff adjustments before painting. I’m the drying ‘down time’ I decided I needed to upgrade my Astrolith bearer as I have never liked the GW model. So I shall post my progress very soon (probably a few hours from now)
Ok so here’s what I’ve been up to for the past few hours. Started painting my Sunblood and converted EOTG’s - also created a better Astrolith to fit into my army C&C always welcome, enjoy.
thank you. Turned out rather nicely I think - and really easy to achieve (literally just cut and stuck from base Astrolith and old blood model) easy peasy
Wonderfull, love the Astrolith Bearer, much beter pose. Also really like the switch of arms on the Sunblood, makes way more sence. Keep up the good work Gr, Imrahil
Thank you yeah I never understood why the sunblood was made back to front ! Also means people can’t see his cool shield half the time.
