Third ever game of 6th edition due on Monday hopefully. Points value increased a little to 2000. While I could get a slann with this, I've decided against it (are you mad man? - No I hope not). I'm going to try this: Lords Old blood, Spawning of Itzl, Cold one, Light Armour, Shield, Aura of Quetzel, Sword of the Hornet. (1+ A/S, 4+ ward to str 5+ attacks, and ASF due to sword). Heroes Scar Vet, Spawning of Itzl, Cold One, Light Armour, Shield, Glyph Necklace, Biting Blade (1+ A/S, 5+ Ward, extra -1 to oppos A/S due to sword) 2 x Skink Priest, Level 2, dispel scroll Core 3 x 10 Skink Skirmishers 25 Saurus warriors, with spears, full command and Spawning of Quetzel to give +1 to their A/S. Special 6 x Saurus Cav, Standard Bearer, Champion 4 x Kroxigor (They've done pretty well at 1500 points so I've kept them in) 5 x chamo skinks. Rare 3 x salamanders. Comes in at 1997 points. Will try a slann soon, but don't want to get reliant on him the way I did in 8th. Also, with magic appearing to be part of the game which adds support rather than be devastating on its own which was often the case in 8th, I hope that 4 Heavens spells will give me the support I need. Any comments welcome, and hopefully will post a report next week.
Haven't played 6th, so I can't offer much help. Are the COs not susceptible to cannons by themselves? I just don't know enough about the edition to properly provide feedback. Best of luck!
