nah, I don't like the multiplayer of TW games the balancing Always seems wonky. Probably has to due with the lack of technologies & general skills which can make things quite different.

Also I generally don't like PvP videogames. Human players have the tendency to play in rather frustrating ways in videogames and try to abuse every single advantage they can get, much more than in other types of games for some reason. Which in turn tends to create meta's I don't find super interesting.

 

And hence my original assertion that you were beating up on purely the AI Tomb Kings.

I watch some of the multiplayer games on YouTube, and those guys are good!

 

meh, I watched a couple of them and it barely feels like the same game. Watched one of em discuss the new units in some DLC and I disagreed with basicly everything he said about em being good/bad. It was quite jarring, especially seeing as I'm at least halfway decent at the game. You'd think we'd agree more.

 

I know that guy and boy is he good. i keep track of all my games against Pro players and currently it is 3-2 in his favor.

 

You're good enough to play and win against him, nice.

 

Thank you for the kind words. Good is one way to put it, i am just very good at picking unusual army comps and making them work, and people (even pros) have a hard time adapting midgame to something they don't expect.
My skill level is also in a weird spot in the game, i dumpster pretty much all casual and consistent players in the game, but i am not good enough to consistently beat the some of the pros. So most games are usually a massive win or a massive loss.

 

you really need to defeat the tombkings early-game before they start to get their bony hands on their constructs. Otherwise, they'll likely spam out construct doomstacks.

 

And we all saw how the great plan was enacted during the end times... not that great!
