so with the new lore in AoS, theres hints that Dracothian may have been Sotek all along, for me i feel conflicted on that, its like kinda cool but kinda like wtf? but since then ive acquired a Storm Drake and have been kitbashing it into a sort of avatar of Sotek, Quetzalcoatl details and such, and want run it as a stegadon or engine of the gods. just curious on opinions and if it would be legal in tournaments.
not according to dracothion himself or the cult of sotek. also our rules treat them as sepret deities with one of our subfactions being names after one and another being named after the other
probably not a link it's in the first SCE book. basically sigmar asks him if he has anything to do with the lizard men and he said no
I abide by the irrefutable fact (read: unproven conspiracy) that Dracothian is just the sigmarized name for Sotek and this is all a big SCE coverup
My personal belief is that sotek is an old one. And the old ones are gods. Not the current gods like dracothian or sigmar, but older.
Mayhaps a @Scalenex or @Killer Angel or another moderator could move this thread to the fluff subforum? Not sure exactly where this one actually fits
Dracothian and sotek are completely different. Sotek is a being that was elevated to dietyship through the cult of sotek(led by Tehenhauin) in the old world. His power was proven. So effectively that the slann had to acknowledge him as a higher power. Dracothian saved sigmar after the end times. Along with the lizardmen/seraphon. I cant remember too much in regards to dracothian but I can recall a lot when it comes to the cult of sotek
