    Hi All,

This is a WIP post of my Baltimore Ravens colour scheme inspired Lizardmen (for those of you who know your collective nouns, Storytelling is collective for a group of Ravens).

I've previously posted some of my work on a couple of posts, but thought I'd group it all here as well.

Feel free to comment/critque my work, this is my first army I've painted so all feedback is welcome!

I'd say Snot Green, maybe with a little Dark Angels mixed in to darken it up. 2:1 snot : DA?

gonna paint 2 of my Saurus in Superbowl XLV colours, might make it an annual thing. Will post a pic here once they're done.

The dark one I painted black base, then Regal blue on the scales to start with. I thought there wasn't enough contrast on the scales though so I drybrushed them and the sail with Hawk Turquoise, still not enough so I drybrushed again with Ice Blue. The metal tags I did in Boltgun metal, then highlighted with Mithril silver, and the bolts are Tin Bitz.
When I get my 3rd I'm thinking of some kind of green, perhaps Catachan or Dark Angels highlighted with Snot?

I absolutely love the violet color scheme and the look of your models, makes me wisi I had gone more violet less blue on my own.

As a side note, a group of ravens is an unkindness or conspiracy. Still very fitting for the things lizards have to do to lesser races to keep the old ones plans alive!

Thanks Lowkey - I originally stole the colour scheme off the GW Tyranids.

I'd forgotten about the unkindness collective actually. Got my list from here http://palomaraudubon.org/collective.html

Like your Purple Skinks (and certainly the shield, for what I can see on your profile pic), maybe I will paint my CS like that (going to convert 12 skinks to have 2 x 6). My skinks are normal coloursheme (blue/dark blue scales). Your yellow salamander is really great. Painting with yellow is not easy and often underestimated.

thanks for the compliments - I was thinking about repainting the yellow one actually - going with the black with red/orange/yellow drybrush like the blue one. (and the green one i'll paint in the future). Would tie them all together. Individual is good though so i'll leave her alone. Just gave me an idea for my unpainted one, which I'll call Victoria. Might have to whip her our of storage and test. I really need to get some more Lizards painted, haven't worked on them in about a year now.
