Rereading American Gods. Neil Gaiman is an American (who turned British, and I don't know if he's turned back yet, or not) God in my eyes for this. And Good Omens with Terry Pratchett. Two great books! --DF2K

I've just finished the 4th of The Power of Five by Antony Horowitz, and am thoroughly enjoying Simon Scarrow's Roman series. Great tactical reads.
Soon I Will Be Invincible by Austin Grossman was a thouroughly enjoyable read, rather light but still very good. As Deathfrisbee2000 said American Gods by Neil Gaiman was fantastic, as was Good Omens. On a slightly more heavy read Kublai Khan by John Man was an interesting read on a highly significant historical figure.
I just finished The Agony and the Ecstasy by Irving Stone, very long (720 pages) very satisfying biographical novel about Michelangelo, if you have the time to devote to it. Funny sort of anecdote, pretty much everyone who saw me reading it asked me if it was the bible...
Finished rereading a Voyage for Madmen, Brilliant account of the first non stop solo sail around the world and the heroic and tragic tales of the nine men who attempted it.
@Guardian of Hexoatl, finish Shadow Warrior? I got it finished a while ago, very good book. I have a new respect for Alith Anar that I never had before. Have now ordered Malekith, to read that as well, and preordered Caledor, which is the third in the series. For now though, I'm reading The Force Unleashed 2. The game was way too short, but the book is great so far. Fills a lot of gaps, makes the game even more disappointing though because they could have done so much more with it. As an added bonus, I know the author Sean Williams.
Just finished 'The House at the Riverton' and now onto the Elfhunter series. well i was until my kindle suddenly broke itself. nicht impressed in fact thoroughly p***ed off now what am i gonna do on Q shfts??? watch daytime tv :O *Grumble Grumble* Lloyd
Yeah the book I was reading just broke as well.... Actually, no it didn't. Thats one of the reasons I definitely prefer physical books over screens. They're also easier on the eye.
Definitely agree with you there Strewart. There's nothing better than a good thick book in your hand.
Just finished Death Troopers. And I had been so hopeful two of my favorite genres could mesh. Alas, Zombies + Star Wars does not work out. --DF2K
I'm working on a book called "Race is a four letter word". It's written by a guy named Brace. It talks about the concept of race in the America's and the world history of the concept. It's really intriguing and an amazingly easy read considering it's from Oxford Press. Although I have to admitt I would not have picked it up probably were it not required for my class.
Just started Jurassic Park. Thought I could understand the weird Chaos Theory stuff better as an adult, but alas, that's not to be. --DF2K
