TOW TRIPLE CARNO

    Good morning guys, i was thinking about a list totally out of the balance force/magic...and i do this one:

    In the second round, the hope is to be in close combat with the Carnosaurs to avoid the shooting and the magic...and of course, the targhet can be obliterated in one hit with the multi-charge.
    After that break through or redirect to the nearest unit.
    skinks covering the flanks with two overlapping units in turn supported by stegadons for shooting and cover, lizards diverted towards the objectives.

    I thought about stegadons because in cac they do more damage than the bastiladon

    I have done a similar list, also with 2 stegadons (both ancient), but with 3 skinks units of 12+vanguard since tournament have often 0-3 rule.
    I don't think you should play a normal stegadon, ancient is so much better in any way. Possibly one with engine of gods.
    Eventually 1 bastiladon+ 5 chameleon could be an alternative but i haven't tested that and i am not so convinced either since bastiladon can be one shotted by cannons and the bolt only goes with a 7+.

    The only big difference in my list is that i don't think 3 carnosaur is so effective as 2 carnosaurs and an oldblood on cold one with glyph necklace and headman axe (with killing blow). In this way i can even full equip my oldblood carnosaur with blade of tzunki or giant blade+ talisman of protection.
    Scarvet on carnosaur is played with GW + meteoric iron (or meteoric iron+ giant blade). He is BSB too.

    I don't have the third carnosaur model so that's the mainly reason I don't tried the 3 list, however still think that a cowboy with 360 degree charge and a better blade on oldblood carnosaur is better.

    I think this is close to as powerful as our list gets. I think a BSB is worthwhile if you can afford it, also vanguard is one per 1000 so that's an illegal list you have.

    gosh thats true, but the army builder didn't block me :eek:. Thx for correct me.
    For the BSB if i want gave some protection in plus to Characters in my opinion isnt possibile :(

    oldblood and scarvet for sure work better full equip and is very possibile that 2 is better than 3 :D my list, in this case, is a compromise to increase the number of attacks that I can bring to the target, sacrificing the bonuses of the magic weapons. with 3 heroes on carnosaur you have at least 8/9 more attacks. my idea is to try to bring multiple charges on the units, do a lot of damage and win on resolution. one of the three is equipped with a magic weapon and talisman to be able to survive a possible challenge.
    it's just an idea that is perhaps not very feasible given the size of the models, but in the games I've faced, in addition to the dragons (damned dragons), I've seen large units of cavalry and infantry with at least two heroes inside, the fights are long-winded, so I could resolve everything in 1 turn of charge... dice permitting of course.

    ill took a look to push inside 2 ancient stegadon one with engine for sure ( maybe removing the avangard in plus ), the second in your opinion is better with giaiant blowpipe or bow?

    In my opinion one engine of gods is great. Even against a level 4 you have a good chance to fight and you can fire a fireball at 360 degree. Great against ambusher or scouts at turn 1 (that are too far away to be protected by the dispel of the wizard. Personally I don't like blowpipes, especially due to cumbersome. Bow is nice when it goes through, poison on it's very cool, but it's not a game changer.
    Usually, when I play two stegadons, i push forward with the one with the bow, and the other i try to cast the bolt outside the enemy dispel range. Cannot i cast that than i march too with it.
