That's a good way to build hype. Color me curious!Yeah, could be worse than wolf chariots. I'm working on a .. stuipd... idea. A REALLY stupid idea. Like, monumentally silly and stupid. I'll post pics when I make some progress on it.
Time to assuage some curiosity. Stupid build Phase I (of three or four) coming up!That's a good way to build hype. Color me curious!

I dub it: The Arachney-Rokk! Goblin Pirate Land...squiggoth....ship....thing.
It's gonna be eventuallyWell, that's a thing of beauty
That is such a cool idea. I can't wait to see it finished!Time to assuage some curiosity. Stupid build Phase I (of three or four) coming up!
So, Orcs and Goblins for Old World. I don't have an Arachnarok. I want one, but they're a little tricky to source at times. What I do have, is a handful of pirate grots from 40K that I ordered along with Kaptin Badrukk... but... I wasn't planning on doing Ork Pirates. It's been done. What I want... is Goblin Pirates for AoS/Old World...
Enter... my squiggoth. I have one. They're Legends and kind of... iffy... to run in 40K these days when there's so many better things I could run... but you know what is about the same size as an Ork Squiggoth?
An Arachnarok Spider. You know what a Squiggoth has? A howdah, just like the Arachnarok Spider... so I thought, you know, I'd like to make a Goblin Landship (like the old Marienburg Landship model from long ago, but Orcish). Then I remembered I had the Squiggoth just... sitting there...
Thus begins Phase I of my stupid, stupid idea:

In Phase II I will cover the decking on the inside of the howdah with wood planks (and phase III will be the outside of the howdah to some extent). Phase IV will be an aftcastle and mast with a crow's nest.
