advice on flocking

    the reason I painted the bottom blue was to basically be an undercoat for the realistic water.

    so my question is this think I should give it a visible bottom of just be deep blue

    basically flock or just pour the realistic water in now?

    I would paint the mini, then water FX then flock.

    How did you attach him to the base (pinning)? Also, what is the green stuff for on his head?

    Flocking should always be done last, after you've painted the model.

    I wouldn't add flocking. Instead, I'd put a few pieces of grit to give a slight shape to the "river bed." Then paint the entire model, spray it down with your purity seal (or whatever you use). Then add the water as the -very- last step.
