Hi Lustria Online. I'm a Swedish guy that's been quite loyal to my Lizardmen ever since i got that old starter box that had Lizardmen and Britonia in it, got it for xmas as a kid I'm not very battle experienced tho since i find the painting downright boring, i much prefer to actually play the game. I'm very aware that some people find it boring to play against half painted models and i have a hard time to enjoy a game when my fellow players are not. That's why i have not played more than like 30-40 rounds. Now i have a guy that paints them for me, that means that as long as i'm coughing up money i'l get more and more fully painted Lizardmen to play with Now when i'l get more to play with I realize that it may not be such a idea to listen to what the pros has to say and use ti as a guideline. I'm focusing on having a great and fun time when i play and therefor may not always play to win. Boring to win with a list that smells cheese if you know what i mean
Welcome aboard! We look forward to your input and if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them.
Hello and welcome! I'm not that much into painting either. Unlike you though it doesn't seem to affect my opponents gusto when playing. I'd suggest you keep playing even if you feel your opponents to enjoy your army, they'll end up getting used to it.
Yea well I live out on the countryside with rather few players in my immediate area but i have all ready fond some nice players a few hours away. Takes planing but it works Oh btw thanks for the welcomes.
Hello and welcome to Lustria! That very same box set of Brets and Lizzies was my first WHFB purchase. Although it was a 5th edition box set, I was introduced to the game back in 4th edition and have been playing since. I am looking forward to reading your contributions to the forum and once again, welcome! - Lord Cedric
Haha nice there Lord Cedric now if ya can remember what year that box came out and if i tell ya that i'm born in 87, i don't think i could have started much earlier considering that English is not my mother language. Can't say i played much the first ehm 3-4 years tho
Hmm... I'm thinking it was back in 1996 or '97. So yeah.. that's still pretty young! I was 21. Oh, the memories! hehe. - Lord Cedric
