Hi everybody, This video shows how you van paint Temple Guard (Lizardmen): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GniRXpbvL00
I use pretty dry paints myself. I use water only when I want colors to blend well together or want a gradient like shading.
Dry Paints are good for drybrushing, wet paints are good for blending. If you prime your mini white then it's better to start with wet paints and if you prime it black then dry paints are better. However, you can always try both techniques on the same model off-course.
You're Dutch! Anyway, nice vid. I don't agree with the above statement, dry and wet paints achieve different effects and can both be used on white and black. Wet paint gives a crisp clean look, while drybrushing gets dusty which might be good for earth, bases, debris and fur/similarly detailed textures. As said, trial and error is the best way of learning to paint. Cheers, clockwork lizard
