8th Ed. "New Art" Water mark in Army Book??

Sorry guys, I wasn't really sure where to post this if I'm honest

Anyway, I was reading through my Army Book... again and noticed that on page 21, behind the 2nd paragraph under "The Primordial Jungles" there is a faint water mark that says "New Art".

I have checked both my friends books and it seems to just be mine??
They are going to keep an eye out for it on other pages but I wasn't sure why it only seemed to be in mine

If anyone with the book could check and post back their findings
Btw it is VERY faint, I Honestly don't know how I noticed it reading the text!

So it is found behind the top of the second paragraph under "Primordial Jungles" on Page 21


No relevance to Lizzies in anyway, was just curious when I could only find it on mine

If this is like a defect on a stamp these could be worth a fortune to collectors!!!!

I hope you kept yours in mint condition in its plastic like Caneghem did!

Now every time I look at that page I just nod to the Army book and say
"Yes book, there is indead new art"

GW thought they would make it clear to us that they have some pretty new artworks

 

Haha yes, maybe it's just an attempt by GW to subliminally make us appreciate the effort they've gone too...

or, maybe it's an attempt to get Lizardmen users to produce fan art via subliminal messenging, through it creating a massive library of 'new art' they can use for the next book and allowing them to cut their art team!! CONSPIRACY!

 

I've been doing new art all year and they haven't given ME a call.

Woo hoo! Glad my Special Edition is still in the plastic wrap. We all know these books will only go UP in value.

what really annoys me in this book: that SAME pic from our 7e armybook, and then in colour in the daemons book; is again used in this book (the demons attacking a temple city).

It would have been better to do a large new image of nakai fighting at the bridge, or kroak decimating armies of lesser and greater demons or something...

Oh dear God, why did I have to read this thread XC As a graphic designer, I think that's a major failure to forget something like that on the background... -.-" I was also disappointed to our book's art... It's so damn lazy just to color old images...

... But I still think it's better than put a new bad looking picture in the book..... (Meaning Tehenhauin's new pic.. I'm sorry if someone likes it, but I personally think it's rubbish and looks like some child has drawn it...)

 

I'm happy to say my book doesn't have the watermark. However, it does have a fabulously warped front cover. It is reminiscent of the bastilodon.
