I have 2 steggys, one is EOG and the other is Sunfire throwers, while the range of the bow is good the damage of the throwers just out performs it...

@Ken are you playing AOS? if so yes skinks can have a pipe and shield unsure about 8th as I have never played it. Skinks look good ;)
Yeah shooting in combat is stupid with a capital S I still love AOS though :)

True and it is strange why you can't have jav's and clubs, but 5+ to hit and 6+ to wound would you really want that as a melee? I know Jav has 6+...
That would give you 2 Melee weapons, same as you can't have Javelin and Boltspitter
