So throwing a few ideas around and how is this for a one drop army: Bloodclaw starhost (100): Old blood on Carnosaur (320) Quicksilver potion Scar vet Carnosaur (260) Relic Blade Sunblood (120) Legendary fighter Scar vet on cold one (100) 10 x knights with lances (240) 10 x knights with lances (240) 30 x warriors with spears (300) 15 x guard (300) Total 1980
Yeah, I would drop the guard for 2 more units of knights, throw in some skinks for some cheap chaff or shooting into battle, every wound helps.
Looking at putting my army down in one drop which rules the skinks out, wanted an eternity warden in the but would have to lose the sunblood plus the eternity warden has no command ability
I would drop 5 guard for 10 more warriors so they can utilize the extra atk with the spears after they have taken som casualties. You could just drop the guard all together and get a stegadon for 240 and a small squad of skinks to Grab back feild obj or be a buffer unit for the sunblood. That puts you at the 2000 points. In terms of the one and done drop. Idk what's in your meta but if you go for the bloodclaw and the stegadon and skinks you only place 3 units. which is almost as good as just placing one in terms of going first
Can the Sunblood have legendary fighter @LordRibbit because I thought that the command traits can only go to the general.
Just my 2 cents, I'd drop 5 of the Knights and take an eternity warden if you are looking to improve those guard to make them cost effective. Otherwise, the guard are not really worth their points and ypu should follow the advice of those who say drop the guard altogether.
