They always choose to be savage to reroll wound rolls and armor save rolls, while the Astrolith bearer grants them reroll to hit. The engine cranks out 20 Skinks when it can, while the Slann slows down enemies with souls are shackles and lets the shooting do it’s job. The Balewind can be summoned early for an additional spell/channeling in later turns and Geminids are for dishing out 2d3 mortal wounds and debuffing enemy melee units. The Slann channeling twice per hero phase in the first two turns along with the D3 from the Astrolith and 1 from Slann general should average 9 celestial conjugation points per turn to crank out a second engine (a steal at 18 points) that can also generate its own 20 skinks from turn 3 onwards. Not meant to be competitive but it should be fun.
Interesting list, the mass of Razordons will look great on the table. Also: Double Basti is always fun to see.
Look pretty nice! Maybe you can add a starpriest and chromatic coggs and dropp some razordorns/salamanders for more celestial conjugation points and more unbind. Try to summon a engine of the gods in your first turn, its awesome!
That sounds like a blast! I only own the one engine at the moment. Correct me if I’m wrong but casting the Balewind still counts as a spell cast right? So at the most I could get 12 points from the Slann (3+1 for cogs) and D3 from Astrolith for a max of 3 and then 1 from the Slann general for a total of 16. Am I missing something?
No your right, Balewind takes a cast slot so the turn you summon you don't get an extra cast from it.
Yes but not on the turn you cast as that costs a cast. Turn you cast BWV Slann can cast 3 spells he cast BWV giving him 2 left then he has 1 from the BWV giving 3 casts again, turn after he has 4 casts
I think you need more Skinks to screen, cos at least in my meta 10 would die really fast, so gaps might appear in your chaff wall. Otherwise looks solid.
