Hi, I'm looking forward to play against a friend having beastclaw raiders. So far I dont see a big chance to make that game: I would go with: 1 KROAK 450 1 ASTROLITH BEARER 160 80 SKINKS 400 1 BASTILADON 280 6 RIPPERDACTYL RIDERS 280 = 1740 open 260 Missing one baseline I think he will have 3 thundertusks 2x 4 mournfang packs 1x hunter + sabres Plan is do go for the HUSKARD as soon and as mighty as possible with the Rippers. Use the skinks to draft some energy from the other tusks, and then see what will happen. What do you think should I add? I also feel a bit squishy when in close combat what would help here? I would play a Starpriest I think. And then maybe some more Skinks. Those can beat the Stonehorns I think since they are cheap wounds and fire a TON of shots. Razordons could also be an option. Edit: Also welcome to the forums!
This could work. Beastclaw hit like a truck BUT if you give them 1st turn you got the upper hand. Had a Heavenswatch list that left with with 4 mournfangs after my double turn *but nevermind the double, after 1st turn I've killed his general and crippled his 6 MW damage. Welcome !
I played against a similar list and didn't know what they could do. The best I found to do is to make sure they can't charge in and try to pelt them with mortals all day.
