Now that my first models are here, it's time to put my colour ideas to the test. Very quickly threw some paint on a saurus, and skink, to see how they look next to each other. note - I havent done any real details, just quick base coats, and a quick base. No rings/jewellery etc, just wanted to try out what I had in my head. My plan was Orange Saurus, Blue Skinks, White/Albino Champs, Yellow Tetto'eko, and Purple Slann (when he arrives). Im happy with how they're going to look, so time to start doing them all properly! Now to get into them all

Whoops, sorry normally works, should be showing now Will upload some more later as now work is over, it is time to paint
We'll see Made a start on Tetto'eko tonight, pics tomorrow, the base is drying at my brothers place. The downside of water effects.. no moving for 24 hours haha
Making some progress on Tett's palanquin, hopefully get this done tonight. some blending, highlights/shading to go, and finish off the other small pillar pieces. This model had already a few base colours on from the previous owner, so have painted over and started again.
Thanks n810, still got to edge highlight all the gold (soul destroying amount of tiny gold parts haha) and blend the feathers, those are the two main tasks tonight!
some more progress on tett himself today, im hoping to have him all together tonight, fingers crossed. Camera has trouble in this light, all the red/blue "tiles" on him and the base himself I have given a once over with some 'ardcoat, to make them look more like ceramic tiles, rather than painted stone. and next to my two colour test models : For my lizards, im going with all of them having black, glossy eyes, i just like how it looks, also doing the same with many weapon blades etc, a black, with gloss varnish. going for an 'obsidian' kind of thing with them, anywho, he's coming along nicely!
I like your tetto to! He is the next model I want to pick up and paint. I also like that u went with non traditional colors!
Thanks guys! :3 I have 4 days holiday now, so taking a break from tett while his base dries, lets see if i can get 24 skinks done tonight!
I am working on my skinks too..just finished my first one..four hours on one..if you can do 24 tonight..thats epic!
Base coat, scales and wash done. Drybrush highlights coming up next then the frills. my phone camera is a potato sorry!
I got further than I thought I would. Gloss coats on javelin heads and eyes. A few tongues to do, and the bases and shields.
