Just looking into star seer and a gryph hound to stop stuff like 15 retributors getting dropped on my face.
What's the reasoning behind two carnosaur. Couldn't you do one to fill out some more model count? Downgrade to scar very on cold one?
Although Oldblood is really strong and has a better command ability - I kinda think scar vets' to be moderate - 4+ save can be easily made to a 5+ with -1 rend so it feels like he drops down fast compared to Scar Vet. Then again, it might just be my inexperience at work
I agree and would probably lose the old blood on carno, unless you wanted to run him as your general. You seem to be relying on your shooting with the hurricanum and the bastiladons, so the loss of the gauntlet ranged attack would be minimal. Would free up some more points to throw into chameleons or something.
Just looked at geeting rid of both carno's and going with the heavens watch star host. Hero Hurricanun Star seer Star priest Priest Jade battle mage Units Warriors x10 Warriors x10 Warriors x10 3 salamanders Behemoth Bastiladon Bastiladon Gryph hound or skink handlers depending on situation. Alot more heals on the units I already have, also the pluss one to hit from the hurricanum combined with the rerols of one on hits, and wounds for the heavens watch means I wont miss much which. Good for getting the shots off with the Bastiladons and salamanders. Not a great deal of movement tho. Thoughts?
You need the handlers to qualify for the Heavenswatch, but this is a good list, Iwas building something similar.
The idea seems good and definitely has some potential. It also has a plan : With this list you should be able to decide which target you want dead and eliminate him with all your shooting. The only serious problem it might have are numbers. At most of the scenarios you ll be needing to outnumber your opponent / split your army to 3 or even 4 places. It will probably face lots of trouble to the scenario that needs heroes in 5" or something to score victory points so I guess the more experienced players could make a suggestion to alternate it a bit to make it more crowdy ? The only guess I am able to make at my level is that you could skip the vortex but not sure how much these extra points will make a difference
