Do you guys think this would be a good idea or has anyone seen this? I put the old blood on my carnosaur from the start collecting pack and think it would be nice to be able to use the trogladon rider as a priest in combination with my skink star priest.

Definitely doable, you just need an extra base to put the skink oracle/priest on. There might be one in the box, I am not sure. Lots of great examples out there of people who used the extra minis that came with the box.

For my troglodon conversion I made a second base for the rider and magnetized his feet so he could double as a skink chief. Did the same with my coatl too (that one was the test-mini). So now I can run either two skink chiefs on foot, or have them mounted.

You really just need a base for the oracle, but you can style it as you see fit and personalize it. But I would always suggest making it a priest or a chief if you didn't make the trog.

I think I'm gonna do it like Warden or something similar so I can have a trog or a priest if I need one... I'll deff. have to find a spare base or something, then.

Aw man, that would have been helpful, especially since I'm just starting out with Warhammer in general. :(

I can still send you bits if you pay the shipping but that will probably cost more than the bits!

Oh wow, I didn't realize it was so expensive to ship stuff. It would probably be like $50-$100 :( I appreciate the thought, though! :)

Having done the dice stuff, it's usually around $11 for international packages that aren't too heavy.

You can do a lot with the troglodon priest model. His pose works great for holding hand weapons, banners, priestly trappings, pretty much anything you can think of. Swapping heads is a little awkward cause of how the neck joins with the back of the original, but with some work can be made to look quite good with most skink character heads. He's pretty easy to pin to a base if you're using cork or some soft material for your rocks. I made a skink chief with a greatbow with mine, but I want to make another playing a big wardrum as a normal priest IMG_20170124_110141670.jpg

Dang that looks cool! So I guess most people turn him into a priest or a skink warchief from what I'm seeing. I don't have any skinks so I'll probably make him a priest.
