Event Horizon = 40k

Apologies if this has been noted elsewhere (it's that obvious), but is the film Event Horizon the most 40k film they never made?

If you called the crew of the rescue ship guardsmen, it would be a POV lowkey take on the 40k universe ala the Dredd film.

Or do I need to get out more..........

Yeah I noticed that when I first learned about 40k.
The whole daemons of the warp thing is very similar.
