Hi everyone! I'm Zoe, and I'm from the UK. I'm more of a collector and painter than gamer, but that's mostly down to a lack of time; more than anything though I enjoy reading, writing, and thinking about fluff. I've been out of the hobby for a little while, but AoS has brought me back - I was sceptical at first, but it is growing on me and I've decided to start a brand new Seraphon host. Whilst I've had a lot of fun with WFB in the past, the flexibility and freedom of choice that AoS offers appeals to me and my limited free time! I've dabbled with many armies over the years, but the Scaly Ones have been one of the few that I kept coming back to. If I ever get myself organised enough to start painting, you might see me in the painting forums, but it's the fluff forum you'll probably find me in most often to begin with Looking forward to talking to you all!
Heh... A few weeks or so - long enough to know bob and all of his adventures There's a lot of good stuff around here - it's one of the factors that persuaded me to stop lurking!
Welcome aboard! AOS is a good system if you want to use those really cool models! Good luck with the painting! Hope to see some of it soon!
Welcome, I was exactly the same more a painter but AOS has got me gaming with my son, hopefully you will get some stuff into the painting section where we try and help with advice and tips and help with colour schemes etc, don't let @spawning of Bob scare you he is fluffy really.
Hey, thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Yes, even you, Killer Angel It'll be a while before you see any painting from me, I'm afraid - I'm a really slow painter, and my first new models are still in their box which doesn't exactly speed things up! I do have a couple of initial bits of background waiting though, two snippets of character bio's, which I might post up tonight... Mind, I'm a delicate little flower (said no-one who's ever met me!), so be gentle (Kidding; I've read enough of the forum to know you will be!)
