    Hey guys

This is my first go at a 1500 points list for a local league I've joined.

Advice and suggestions are much appreciated!

    Skink Starpriest
    Saurus Sunblood

    10 saurus knights
    20 saurus warriors
    10 saurus guard

    5 chameleon skinks
    5 chameleon skinks

    Dread saurian

I am looking to get a new unit, but I am not sure what would go well with the models I have already. I have only played a couple of games, so I'm not sure what my list lacks. I'm not bothered about being ultra competitive, I just don't want to get smashed by everyone!

Thanks for reading and I look forward to some feedback

I 've never played a similar list so my opinion doesnt derive from experience, but I think that the 10 saurus knights don't really stack with the rest. While they are indeed the only unit that can follow up your dread saurian, our cavarly without any synergies is really weak and can't be utilized at all "just by placing it" and not building over it or have a pretty specific purpous for it.

A starpriest for some buffing into all these saurus would really pump up your list in my opinion.
With the last 140p left - if you exclude the knights that is - I suggest some range as this is what your list lacks a 100% and plays a pretty important role in AoS as far as I 've understood so far.

At the end of the day, if you really can't decide what to do *although I really think you need to add some shooting * just field the units that you like the most and have a great time !

Good luck, looking forward to your battle report :D

Cool army. Im jealous of the Dread :) I;ve had to proxy it when I've used it. I really like the Dread/Starpirest combo. Buff it with the staff then either cast mystic shield or starlight on it and it will do good things for you.

If I were you I would drop the knights and go in either two directions. Add more guard and work in a Eternity Warden for the Eternity Starhost. Really good! Or beef up your warriors to a big squad. They 10 man knight unit wont do too much for you. A skink priest would go well with either more guard or a big warrior squad. I hope that helps a little!

I think the knights are perfect support, here is how I would go though:
    Leaders
    Skink Starpriest (100)
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)
    Saurus Sunblood (120)

    Battleline
    5 x Saurus Knights (120)
    - Lances
    - Seraphon Battleline

    5 x Saurus Knights (120)
    - Lances
    - Seraphon Battleline

    5 x Saurus Knights (120)
    - Lances
    - Seraphon Battleline

    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs

    Units
    5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
    5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)

    Behemoths
    Dread Saurian (400)

    Battalions
    Eternal Starhost (80)

    Total: 1500/1500

I might still go with sunblood as general, but you can play with that.
