Games Workshop has embarassing blunder at GenCon

While I'm sure it's an accident. The timing is REALLY bad. The community is sharply divided over Age of Sigmar. Sending an ad hoc skeleton crew to the biggest overall gaming event in the United States is not wise.

All things considered, someone probably should have been fired for that.

Maybe they let go the bloke that used to handle the visa applications? ...downsizing and all, ...made him redundant.

Someone at head office messed up the visa application, rather than travelling on a Business Visitor Visa they travelled to the US on a Holiday Visa. Not only were they denied entry, they were immediately deported back to the the UK and will not be able to travel to the US for a while.

That really is awful. I can imagine the horror back at head office. You really don't want an image of incompetence if you're one of the big boys in the industry and have just shook up a loyal customer base.
