    Hello everybody :)

I'm re-painting my lizardmen army, not to have bad paintjob side by side with good paintjob. :)

Here you are some pics of the most recent pieces

I use this one as a Kroxigor in my Skink Cohort, but then I think I'll use as an Special Kroxigor Hero...

This is a WIP Chameleon Skink. It has not blending yet...

The photo is not good... However, this is one of my 3 salamander

And last but not least, the WIP Slann...

New pics will come, when available :)

    Stay tuned

Wow, awesome looking kroxigor!! Where does that model come from, or have you converted it from something else?

    Things are looking good.

What is your overall color scheme for your army?

    Re: Godel's Painting Log

Each unit has a different scheme. I've many models, and I could not suffer to paint too many of them in the same way. So, I choose this way: everytime I've to start a unit, I look for some tropical frog/lizard, and apply the scheme to my lizardmen.

To give cohesion to the whole army, I work:

    1) on the bases (all jungle)

    2) on the equipment (all units have obsidian weapons, all heroes have jade/gold weapons and TG have lapis/gold weapons)

    3) on the standard

It doesn't seem, but it looks goood on battlefiled :)

Very cool krox model! And you have given it a great paintjob as well. I might have to try to get hold of one.

I think I have seen that paintjob on that Slann before, it does look amazing. He definitely needs a special palanquin!

Very nice minis - my favorite so far is your Slann. I really wish I had gotten one of those Forgeworld Slann, but by the time I was involved in the hobby, they were already OOP. :(

Cool, I can appreciate that approach. My gaming buddy is buggering me and thinks I should do that aswell. I think it's mostly because he's a lizard (the real ones) fanatic (yet he collect empire...).

Do you have a shot of your whole army? It would be nice to see how they fit together.

I forgot to compliment that your salamander color scheme is very nice. I love how vibrant it looks!

Thee avatar of war mini looks good too. One thing I can't figure out is the scale of this one. The proportions makes it look like a kroxigor to me, but it's meant to be a saurus hero? It's a nice mini, but that thing puts me off, kinda.
Could you take a pic of it standing next to a kroxigor and a saurus?

    Keep up the good work!
    Cheers!

I've done something else on the Slann.

Belly, eyes and nails have to be done, but the skin is finished.

    I hope you like it^^

    Lookin' really nice there.
The AoW Krox is loverly, I saw the greens over at the Carpe Noctem forum when he was sculpting it and was wowed by how nice the model is.

Your paint job really does the model justice.

Re: Godel's Painting Log 2/12/11 Update

These are pics of the base of the Slann.

There are a lot of thing to finish, but I think they are goog enough

The spots on the Aztec face should be "licheni"

    sriimg20021218_1525558_0.jpg

but in the pics, they are more blue than they really are...

    :-/

Anyway, I've done the base before finishing the entire model, because I hare doing bases for my models, and I know that, if I do not work on it before finishing the model, I'll do a very bad work on the base.

    :)

    Hope you like it

Incredible work, and your bases are truly fantastic. Are they custom made?

    Thank you :)

I've bought the bases. They are from Micro Art Studio: unfortunately, I cannot sculpt :(
My "warhammer skills" are mainly in painting and making scenics :)

@MOD: can any MOD transfer this topic in the Paint Log section? pliiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I really like you slann! I have an unpainted one and I think I may use your color scheme. Also, your Tetto Ecko is coming along nicely. Definately would like to see the finished model when you are done. Great work! :D

That guy looks wild! what was your inspiration for the swirling rocks? It makes me think of the finale of Avatar the last airbender.
