GreenyRepublic's Big Paint Storage Thing Mk1

i did all my paints but ill need to order some new ones because the ones I got are not air tight so when I shake them I get a good amount in the cap. what kind did you all get. (sucks I have to reorder 100 bottles just to get new caps for them)

Dont remember which I got, other than it is supposed to be for "medical" use or something like that, as they have "children lock" on the lids. Though have not noticed the issue you mention with them yet.

And that's all four normal sizes done! Now onto the design for the bottom drawer, I've got some ideas I'll be sharing soon.

Hey all! Forgive me absence, juggling my degree and my other myriad of occupations leaves me with a sparse time ration for the hobby. Here's a little design for the bottom drawer: I'm trying to go for a sort of stylised sun/comet flame trail thingy that you see a lot on classic Warhammer Fantasy art and books, though at the moment it looks more like tentacles for some reason. Any thoughts?

May have gone over the top with that sun concept...

Well, here's the finished thing until I get round to the side patterns. Though I stress now that that's a 'come back to it later' thing, right now I have exam revision and other projects, and I kind of need a break with this thing anyway.

Very cool; it turned out great! Definitely worth the time and effort you invested in it.

Hey again. As time goes on I'm staying true to my word of adding little bits and pieces to the drawers. For example I've just finished a set of 189 labels for the paint pot recesses, so I can tell what is supposed to go where if paints have been removed. I've uploaded the complete collection as a .rar if any of you fancy using them in your own projects, and will be uploading the laid-out printing sheets when those are finished.

If anybody spots any issues or has any suggestions please let me know.

UPDATE: Well that took me a lot less time than I had anticipated: the printout sheet PDFs are attached below. For reference each label is sized at the diameter of a pot of Citadel paint (3.25cm).

I... Err...

...Yes, and I'll confess that due to time restraints (and my garage being a mess that I've needed to tidy up before starting painting again) I haven't used a single one yet. I will change that soon though.

Here's a really rough mockup of what the Lustria side of the map could look like, had to rearrange the elements a bit in order to fit the size of the panel but I think it looks pretty good.

I always liked this map, this was a very good quality rendition. Very gritty, like it has been well worn.

It's good right? I will probably have to simplify the shit out of it to make it feasible, however.

Oh, and here's some progress. I've stained the inside of the top drawer and added the relevant labels. Have a few photos why don't you:
