I am a fairly new player who just got into age of sigmar.

I actually spend a fair amount of time reading through forums on here and just got around to making an account

so far i just have the starter box and an old metal model from some other company. Looking to expand my army a little if i can get any suggestions. I'm thinking of getting a slann and some saurus guard next.

I also want to get around to painting my models but cant afford paint along with new models :(

    anyways, hello!

    Welcome aboard.

Age Of Sigmar is all about synergy and Seraphon are the king, expand on your starter box, Slann yes, guard not yet, go for warriors or knights depending on your playstyle.

    Have you painted before?

Get a tin of automotive primer and just prime all your models for now.

The starter set is more attack than defense so a Slann is more fitting.

    Thanks!
I'm thinking of painting my warriors first as they would be the easiest and I haven't painted models in 2 years.

Would a second starter set in addition to the slann be a good idea?

Second starter would definitely be a good investment.

There are 2 battalion boxes out there,
one had Saurus, Skinks and Coldone Calvary,
and the newer one had Saurus, Skinks, and Temple guard. ;)

    Welcome to the forums!

The Old Ones rejoice whenever a lurker joins the active community. Whatever your reptilian needs are, we got you covered.

Painting and converting. We got you covered. Tips and techniques, honest but polite critiques and models to inspire you. We got it.

Gameplay. We cover tactics, list building and battle reports for 8th Edition Warhammer, 9th Age Warhammer, Age of Sigmar Warhammer, and Kings of War.

We have fiction, aka fluff pieces. It's mostly 8th Edition/Age of Sigmar but we welcome all fluff. It doesn't have to be reptilian, it doesn't even need to be gaming.

And We got forums to talk about memes, Star Wars, and whatnot.
