glad to find another site dedicate to the advancement of the Old ones!

    Lord-Karnik former dwarf re-born as a lizard....

Hailing from the cold north of Maine were local stores do not exist and playing a game is a hour commute to the basement of friends house!

on another note hope this site runs strong and the ideas an debates are long and entertaining.

Hehe, join the club. Tired of hunkering down in a corner and shooting? I still love the stunties, it's just that the new books have quite literally "boxed them into a corner". Welcome to an army that can go skirmishy movement based like wood elves all the way to good old hammer and anvil (and magic, oh my!)

thanks cane- yes the stunties are a bit slow, but I always found advance out to meet the foe yeilded me a more complete victory.

as for the lizards I am still skeptical of magic but I will have to give it a go at some point

Yeah, there were times I found myself marching across the board and actually pulling victories against wood elves. The anvil helps a lot for getting yourself into some good combats.

I'm pretty well ignoring magic at first, but fully embracing the guerilla-style tactics and high movement. Nice to know that if I don't like that playstyle I can change things up a bit by throwing in some different unit choices.
