Hi everyone, i just signed up to the forum but have been reading it for a long time. I have been playing fantasy for about a year now mostly vs. My brother who has a high elf and an undead army. I started out playing chaos but have recently been putting most of my time and effort in to my new lizards army. (I think its because i like painting bright colours as opposed to black and grey and repeat.) I am hoping to get some insight on how to improve my lackluster painting skills and hoping there is still enough interest in the 8th edition (because that is all i play) that i can create good discussions on armies and tactics. Especially in regards to fighting the undead.
    -cheers

    Welcome!
If you ever want to try Kings of War, the 9th Age, or Age of Sigmar, just ask. :)

Hey will do! Ive been tentatively looking in to the 9th age and Aos. Although initially i hated Aos i think it might be valuable solwy in the fact that it might be quicker and with my new job s hours game time comes few and far between. I like the idea of 9th age the only problem i can s from what(although it could be unfounded) I've heard is that it's very good for the tournament aspects of war hammer but not so much for casual gaming

Greetings and welcome to the forum!

I am primarily a fantasy player too - I have large armies of Dwarfs, Lizardmen and Skaven!

Always great to see a Fantasy player join us - the Fantasy section has been getting pretty lonely...

Hey, Cap! Welcome! 8th is alive and well!!! Like Crowsfoot says, there are several of us that still play and are heavily involved with 8th edition. I primarily attend here and EEFL (Eighth Edition For Life). I'll be happy to discuss anything with you that you want! Especially since I currently have ten fantasy armies.
