Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - July 2026

This thread is to get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

I have procedure for extraction of the last wisdom tooth scheduled this month, so I'll probably be high on pain medication for about a week, but I would like to:

-Continue on Razorbach faction for HARDWAR
-Get Feathered serpent entry printed, assemble and prime it
-Find time to hobby more :D
 
Hey everyone. Good luck with your projects this month. For me:

1. Achieve 800 infantry figures or equivalents for the year. (Currently 705/800)

2. Clear remaining frames on desk of bits and recycle.

3. Clean and organize lower shelves of my office storage.

4.paint a tank.
 
First update of the month:

Tooth slaughter is coming on monday, wish me luck :D

-Continue on Razorbach faction for HARDWAR
-Get Feathered serpent entry printed, assemble and prime it - printed, assembled, based and try out mini (for paint scheme) primed
-Find time to hobby more - had 2 hobby sessions, one to assemble FS mini, second to watch kiddo prime his models :D

1. 734/800. I need to up my speed, but the next couple months are going to be slower anyway because of the upcoming wedding and then honey Moon. Unfortunately there is prep time.

2. First set was done, but now I'm working on another set. So I guess goal completed and pushed forward with additional?

3. Left side shelf done, right side shelf needing to be done.

4. Not done yet. Not sure if I will. We'll see.
 
Second update of the month is symbolic only.

Tooth is out, bleached and in jar in bathroom. More on my blog, as I don't want to grose out anyone just looking for hobby progress. :D
 
I'm going to try to make it to my goal of 800 painted infantry minis or equivalents, but I'm probably going to be short by a few models. Considering this week is a little busy. It'll only be a bit under 25 short though. If I can't pull it off.

Which would still be a massive result
 
Final update of the month:

Finally without painkillers :D

-Continue on Razorbach faction for HARDWAR
-Get Feathered serpent entry printed, assemble and prime it - done, preshaded and experimental under-basecoat done
-Find time to hobby more - not really

Bonus: Found remains of oyumaru and put it to good use.

1. Not done. I made it to 780ish before the end of the month.

2. Done

3. Done

4. Nope.
