Posting this here because it's as much a fluff question as a modelling one: I am scratch-building a banner for my saurus infantry and I have space for three glymphs upon it. Is there anything cool/meaningful that could be expressed in just 3 lizardmen glymphs?
I have the handbook. I know the glymphs. I was asking if you have any ideas for how to actually use them.
aha, sorry. There are also the general glyphs for Saurus, Skink and that stuff. But you might have those as well then... Gr, Imrahil
most of the time saurus don't bother with righting just using their cities heraldry as a banner when they do it's short and to the point like claw shield or lance denoting their roll in the army. the most elaborate being something like claws of sotec
Spell out... W - I - N ...on the banner? Put your initials on the banner? Spell out... L - M - A ...on the banner? LMA = Lizard Man Army; Win is fairly obvious. The image @Imrahil posted is from an English language copy. Does your copy of the handbook spell “glyphs” with an M in the middle of it? If yes what language is yours translated into?
I am planning a banner that reads “aanngg on....” Because our games usually happen after a few beers and when someone busts out a funky rule that’s the first thing someone says xD
Reminds me of the time back when I still actively played. There was a guy everyone called Slann, because he played lizardmen, but also was the fattest in the club.
