Hey All, I've just recently decided to get into Warhammer, based onthe good reviews of 8th edition. I've chosen to do a Lizardmen army. Here are some pics of the figs I'm working on right now. Wow!! That's what I wanted my models to look like when I started painting them, only it didn't go so well for me... The colors look clear and crisp, without appearing artificial. The texture of the scales is well highlighted, too. Now I need to take a break from playing so much and get to painting. Thanks for the inspiration, and welcome to Lustria!
They arevery well painted I like that you used the Lizardmen GW colour scheme because you did it really well
You may be new to WFB, but you are definately an acomplished painter. A well executed paintscheme and the painting is indeed neat and crisp. The only suggestion I have is the use of some washes to create additional depth.
Just working on my Stegadon. Here's a WIP shot from this weekend. I should have the howda and skinks finished and attached this coming weekend (along with the final details painted on the steg). Kevin in Edmonton
Looks awesome! Very nice detail and an awesome job of blending the guys skin! I can't wait to see it when he/she's finished!
the slann belly awesome. i think it would be cool if the palette wasnt so typical. no offense! >< the paint job looks awesome.
Hookadoodle, The stone was very straightforward. Deneb Stone (Foundation paint), wash with Delan Mud, drybrush with Deneb Stone again. That's it. I do like having an alternative to the Codex/Fortress Gray stone. Kevin in Edmonton.
That is one sweet looking salamander unit!!!! Great army you have so far, it would be coolif you could take a shot of the army as a whole.
Fantastic work. I like the pastel colors for the skinks and the salamanders really come alive with the yellow highlighting. The bases are my favorite aspect, what did you use for the rock / pebbles?
